I was really impressed by their “Welkom Home” concept.
“We take care of our guests, putting on wristbands right away and making sure they’re fed,” said the hotel’s guest manager during our inspection.
Our group was warmly greeted with fresh juices (mango, guava, strawberry, orange) and live music.
The property is built on multiple levels and is very green, with lots of flowers. The terrace features a gorgeous sea view.
A shuttle bus runs around the resort from 6:00 a.m. to midnight, looping from reception to the beach and back.
We chose to walk instead, enjoying the lovely pathways.
There are many lounges and relaxation areas both on the grounds and by the beach.
They have five heated pools, including Swim Up rooms. Near the beach you’ll find two pools: one active, one for relaxation. There’s also a large pool with a water park.
Rooms:
- Family rooms with a modern renovation, located near the water park (super convenient for families).
- Family Suites have two rooms with a connecting door.
- Ongoing renovations keep things fresh.
- Slippers and bathrobes are provided in all rooms.
- Wi-Fi works well everywhere.
- The noisiest building is Block 4, but they’ll switch rooms for you if you ask.
- Heads up: Some rooms only have a French balcony—this isn’t noted in the system, so you’ll need to specify during booking.
Entertainment:
They organize color parties and fruit festivals. There’s no disco, so it’s not a party hotel. The water park features slides for both adults and kids.
A kids’ club runs from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. without breaks.
I feel it’s still more suited for adults—until recently, it was an adults-only hotel.
Dining:
Tasty and varied, with seafood and four kinds of freshly squeezed juice. Snack bars are available on the beach and by the water park.
Ice cream is offered from noon to 5:00 p.m. at both the beach and water park, and also at lunch and dinner.
They have eight restaurants in total, six of which are à la carte and free with a reservation (only the fish restaurant is paid).
There’s a 24/7 lobby bar. Local alcohol is included; imported drinks cost extra.
Beach:
On the first line, about 200 meters wide. There’s a small sandy lagoon for kids, plus a pontoon with a nice reef. Cabanas are available for a fee and come with fruit and drinks. The ones to the left are for families, to the right are adults-only.
The beach also has mini-golf paths.
A late checkout fee is $25 until 4:00 p.m., $80 until 8:00 p.m. (rates may vary).
They don’t remove your wristbands even after you’ve checked out, so you can still use the bars and restaurants.
The guests are mostly British, Russian, and German.
Overall, I loved the hotel. The staff is welcoming, guest-focused, and aims to please. Highly recommended!
